Margaret Dawson is Vice President and Chief Digital Officer at Red Hat. In her previous role, Margaret oversaw global product marketing and helped establish the portfolio go-to-market strategy for Red Hat’s Products and Technologies division. Prior to RedHat, she was Vice President of Product Marketing and Cloud Evangelist for HP Helion, the cloud computing division of Hewlett-Packard Enterprise. Margaret has also held global leadership positions at Amazon and Microsoft, and successfully built brands and teams at multiple tech start-ups. She started her career in the world of journalism, PR, and communications, and quickly found her footing in tech and leadership roles.
