Lisa Hufford is founder & CEO of Simplicity Consulting—the Pacific Northwest's preferred marketing and business consultancy for the new world of work. She started the company after the birth of her second son—she realized that she still wanted to do impactful work, but also wanted the flexibility to own her schedule and spend meaningful time with her family. Lisa built Simplicity to help innovative companies accelerate growth and stay relevant in the new world of work. Simplicity strategically executes sales and marketing projects and programs for companies like Microsoft, Expedia, and T-Mobile, and has been named to the Inc. 5000 list for five years running as one of the fastest-growing private companies in America. Lisa was recognized as an Inc. Top 10 Female Entrepreneur and an Entrepreneurial Winning Woman by Ernst & Young. She sits on the Dean’s Advisory Council for Cal Poly and the UW Bothell Business School and is a member of the Female Founders Alliance. Lisa has also been one of the first to champion a new way of doing work: through on-demand, project-based teams that add immediate value. She’s the author of Navigating the Talent Shift: How to Build On-Demand Teams That Drive Innovation, Control Costs, and Get Results and Personal Brand Playbook.
